  • Ceramic coating

Сeramic coating is right way to protect the paintwork of a car from the negative effects of the environment.

This is a special compound that forms a protective, durable layer on the surface of the car. Applying such a means improves the performance qualities of the paintwork and makes its appearance more attractive.

Seven advantages of ceramic coating on cars:

    1. Resistance to mechanical damage and chemical influences.
    2. The protective layer is several times stronger than the paint coating. When sand, small gravel, debris hits the ceramics, there are no scratches and chips on the surface.
    3. Ceramic coating does not interact with technical fluids, oils, fuels and other chemicals. If these substances get on the body does not leave stains and other damage that can lead to corrosion of paint and varnish.
    4. Corrosion Protection. “Glass” fills in microcracks and irregularities, sealing the factory paintwork. Water, dirt and reagents cannot penetrate deep into the metal, eliminating oxidation and corrosion.
    5. UV protection. A layer of ceramic prevents the effects of ultraviolet radiation, which protects the paintwork from fading.
    6. Attractive appearance, the effect of a new car. After treatment, the car body acquires a glossy-glossy surface. Such a car looks presentable and well-groomed.
    7. Easy care. Thanks to hydrophobic coating, less dirt adheres to the car. It is enough to use only water or a light car-chemical in the form of a detergent shampoo to clean the body.

    What is a ceramic coating.

Ceramic coating is a liquid compound that contains various components that help form an invisible protection on the paintwork:

    • Organic silica solvent. Allows the ceramic to spread evenly. Endows the protective layer with antistatic properties. Dust and fluff will not adhere to such a surface.
    • Aluminum oxide. Responsible for the hydrophobic properties of the coating. If water gets on the body, it will roll off in the form of balls. Such a surface is not affected by downpours and dew. Aluminum oxide also makes the paintwork resistant to temperature changes, which is especially important for those who use cars all year round.
    • Titanium Dioxide. It is used to give the surface a glossy shine.

The composition also includes various silicates and polymers, which give the ceramic an extra margin of strength and wear resistance.

The hardness of the ceramic coating is 9H, thanks to the high content of silicon dioxide. This means that only a pencil with a 9H lead can scratch the protected paintwork. If the body is not protected, a 2H pencil is enough to leave scratches.

What does ceramic coating protect your car from:

    • “clouding” and minor scratches.
    • Chips that appear as a result of mechanical damage.
    • Abrasive effects in the form of sand and fine gravel.
    • Water, dirt, ultraviolet rays.
    • Road chemicals and corrosion.

After the protective composition is applied, the paintwork becomes ideally glossy, a beautiful shine and color saturation appear. All coatings are warranted under all operating conditions.
